Default Should I accept this Job offer?

HEllo.

A proprietary trading firm has offered me a job trading equities on NYSE. WHY the fup would anyone give me a shot at this? I know nothing about it, and told them this.
They were very interested in poker and asked me to bring in laptop to show them Poker tracker etc..

The is no salary - it's all commission based. Is this standard?
They basically said that they have a 75% failure rate in the first 6months.
Should I try to get on the trading floor of a larger company/ bank or go with this!!??

hmmm... is this serious? Please tell me you have more information?

1. what type of hours do you work?
2. do they provide training?
3. is there a cap on commisions?
4. do you get paid a draw while waiting for commisions to clear? Or is what you make what you take home? (i.e. you are in the red for two months, you go home with zipp for two months?)

EDIT: you post basically is the equivalent to me asking: "hey should i buy this car? It has an engine and wheels. Thanks."
