Re: several options with QQ
I think c/r would get the most information. If he/she calls or raises, shut down. If not, ship it. If it goes check check, lead the turn but fold to a raise.

Re: several options with QQ
I like to bet here, but I think it depends on how much credit your going to give him if he raises. If he's got AA, KK or A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] he'll 3B your C-R so, I like to bet then see what he does. If he calls reevaluate turn, if he raises I can decide whether I want to move AI or fold.
If you C-R and he 3Bs it signifys a stronger hand, yet you've committed more chips and getting better odds to call |

Re: several options with QQ
PF is fine.
Flop really depends what 3-bet range of villain is. If its really tight and his nit postflop c/c flop, c/f turn If its wider and if u think he calls all in with TT/JJ i go for c/rai. |

Re: several options with QQ
pre: is fine, no need to 4b.
I would check/call flop. Leading has it's merits but doesn't allow him to cbet, generally speaking 3b pots are usually cbet too much. C/r - that ensures you stack off versus all his better hands and ideally gets him to stack off with worse, that's wishful thinking w/ hands < TT. |

Re: several options with QQ
I don't like the lead hear because it's a play that many small PPs will make, and he/she could raise with any hand just to represent a bigger pair and make you fold the best hand, so you don't get much information unless you know he/she will only raise with AA or KK.

[/ QUOTE ] IMO which ever way you play it before or after flop if villain has AA/KK hero stands to lose money on this hand.if you lead at pot, some weaker hands and higher pairs will raise or call. If you CR it is possible weaker hands will fold, but you will have to continue against a stronger hands anyway, since a check raise will require hero putting in about another $55-65 anyway depending on size of villains bet |
