Re: 5+.50 45p sng, AKo in sb, middle of tourny
may bet more on each street depending on table and reads...275-300 pre...also I think I bet a little more than half pot on flop and slow down on turn (if you want to fire again it needs to be bigger too)

Another hand from just a little later in the tourny. Was this well played or did I just get lucky.

Re: 5+.50 45p sng, AKo in sb, middle of tourny
First thing first, don't post results.
I'd raise more preflop, I like to 3x it if I'm first in and add x1bb per limper so w/ one limper in front of me if I got position I'd 4xbb it (raise to 320). However, when I'm OOP like in this spot I like to raise alil more to charge anyone for playing their hand in position vs. me. I'd make it 350-400 to go. This is obv nothing you have to do but it's what I do and I find that it works pretty good for me. There's a good post in the anthology about preflop raising. I'd CB this flop with a 1/2-3/4 pot bet, but if called I'm shutting down on the turn. I'd check-call the turn if villain is giving me the rigth price, we likely have 4 outs to the nuts (unless he got two spades in his hand) and possibly another 6 outs (A and K's). However it's very possible villain got a hand such as AJ or KQ and all our outs aren't clean so I'd say we have around 7 outs here on avg. I'd checkfold if we're not getting the rigth price.
