2-7 TD: Multiway pot, drawing 2:1:1, do you bet unimproved?
5/10 2-7 on Stars. Notes say that BB is overaggro and overvalues hands, SB is unknown.
Hand 1 I raise UTG, SB and BB call. SB draws 2, BB draws 1, I draw 1 to 8643. I brick. Check, check, I bet. If you don't bet here, do you bet 7432? I bet this time and got check-raised by BB, who was pat. I missed both draws and folded to his river bet. Hand 2 A couple of orbits later I raise UTG, Button and BB call. BB is the same as in the previous hand. BB draws 1, I draw 1 to 8543 and brick, Button draws 2. BB checks, I bet again. Good/bad? |

They both have to catch worse than a J or in some cases worse than like a K. Too lazy to see how big the pot is but this is probably just a math thing. I'm guessing you should not bet.

[/ QUOTE ] I must have replied without even reading the hands you posted because what I wrote here makes no sense at all. When you are drawing 1 against another 1 draw and a 2 draw and they both check to you then I would definitely bet. In both cases your 1 draw is likely better than the other 1 draw and you can't let the 2 draw get away cheaply. |
