Each year my wife and I usually spend a long weekend in Manhattan. We've done this maybe 6-8 times, so we've done and seen a lot of the standard tourist type stuff. We have always stayed near Times Square. Last year we spent a lot of time walking through Greenwich Village, Soho, and the Lower East Side. That was a lot of fun so we are thinking about staying in Soho or Greenwich Village this year.

Any recommendations on what to do for someone who has already seen a lot of the standard stuff? Also, any good hotel or restaurant recommendations in Soho or Greenwich Village, or nearby?
