3 Barrell Spew?

Villain is axelf82. 19/16/4. Seems a decent reg. Generally aggressive.

He's won a few big pots of me recently, he check/raised a set on a drawy board and I pushed an overpair and he 3 barrelled KQ on KKxxx and I called down with 99.

No takers, I'll put in my thought process and see if anyone can spot any holes in my logic.

PF: He stealing a wide range, I'll normally 3bet or fold here, this time I 3bet. Q9s is a reasonable hand to do this IMO.

Flop: A lot of his hand range is often mid pocket pairs. I'll usually c/fold here. This time I decided to fire with the intention to fire on a lot of turns.

Turn: Good turn to fire again. I can easily rep AK,KQ here as well as AA (I'd maybe fire QQ). Only problem is that he knows it's a good turn to fire again.

River. I've only a half pot bet left here and I'll usually just give up here. The problem is that now I'm ahead of any of his 33-77 hands (and I can't c/call) which he might now bluff with. And I still think he *might* fold 99-QQ.

yeah this semms fine to me... as long as it is only an occassional play. u may get a call off Ace high tho with this river imo. depends how villain views u...

I think its spewish...he's not folding 99 here..if he calls turn he'll call river unless he has like 66 or something in which case you win anyway so just check river...

I think if you are donking the flop you are trying to represent a set, but on a paired board this is unlikely (well it'd be a FH). Your hand looks like a PP lower than 8. Your turn bet doesn't add up, because what K donks the flop?

first of all, he didn't donk the flop, second of all, he didn't donk the flop.

i doubt he is calling turn w/ 33 -&gt; 77. I think this is good against a smart opponent who realizes that you have very little fold equity, ect, but there arent many of them so this probably wont work.
99 and TT may fold if youd value bet a hand like JJ or QQ here, but your not folding JJ, QQ AK, or AA

From your description he's tight and good so I think your reraise oop with Q9 is pretty bad, and I dislike river bet...I think c/c is prob even better then lashing it in as he may bluff with 22-77. All round spew I think..
