Default KK deepish, some history and paired board, 3/6nl

Villain is 20/17/3 - history from prev sessions is me 3betting him a lot, and then one day he started 4betting me so i started 5betting and we tangled a bit but id say i won...but i also stopped 3betting him as much...and now today hes raised my flop bet twice before this time and i folded both times. I havnt 3bet him as much as usual but at that table i was probably the most active player, but definitly not doing anything crazy.

i guess he has to be bluffing 40% of the time for the call to be breakeven, i think its a call with the history and a 20/17 should normally be 3betting u pre with AJ/KJ/QJ/44

I think I'd fold this river, but there are definitely people who I'd call against. Gotta go with your read yo.

yeah we probably play pretty similar and i have called and won in this spot a bunch of times vs guys like the one described, but i would fold most of the time. it just comes down to how likely you feel he is to be trying to prove something to you, if it feels like he is then call, but if you're not sure you should let it go

Yeah I agree.

Not sure how often he would continue bluffing here when it really doesn't look like you're folding, but some guys just don't put much thought into their bluffs and bluff too much, against that player type I'd call. But I think you're crushed against most decent players here a ton.

this just comes down to how often he raises the flop on a total bluff and fires twice more. You're better equiped than us to say. vs most I image a fold is in oder since he should think you have a J very often.
