I usually raise weak leads - they fold like 90% of the time. However, you need to raise that flop more. Raise it to like $5.

i'd make it at least $4.5 on the flop, once he calls im done with it unless i improve. you have decent showdown value w/ AK high if he was drawing. he prolly has some weak made hand. but vs an unknown im not willing to double barrel since we have no reason to think he'll fold his marginal hand. just make a note on what he had when he gets to SD.
with no reads or history or anything i 100% raise minbet donks, and pretty much always raise these weak leads the 1st time. if he calls or folds ill make a note. psb donks i just fold if ive completely missed. any history or reason to think hes weak though and ill just raise him up! |
