Default Just moved up to 1/2nl. turn play?

This is my 4th hand after moving up to 1/2nl. I know villian is a regular in this game.. but dont have too many reads. I know he is solid ... Not too loose, not too tight.

Wow... my first impression, I have no idea. That is a very bizare line.

I don't see how you fold though. I think if he trapped you or sucked out, good for him.

at first i was thinking AK with big flush card. But then i thought possibly 99-JJ but i was unsure.... I know he is capable of calling with KK or AA pre.

I was thinking fold at first...but then realized that this is a semi-bluff 100% of the time I think, as a boat doesn't need to protect and a flush doesn't 'protect' when the board pairs, rather it plays for pot control. Ak w/ club or something. I doubt he has an 8...if we have QQclub it's an easy call. Here it's a lot tougher- go with your gut- if you're taking a shot I prob fold and wait rather than ride the coaster. (since even a semi-bluff has like 30-40% equity or something prob)

Red aces or red kings are definitely in his range i think would probably play like this...this sucks and i'm not sure, I'd lean towards a fold.

I was thinking call but I definitely agree with this. I could imagine a decent villain doing this with AA or KK no clubs.

If the hand wasnt played against a solid regular... would Calling be a clear answer?
