Peer to Peer Transfers on ePassporte

Does anyone know how long they take or whether or not they notify the person recieving funds if a transfer has been requested? Someone is sending me money on ePassporte and they said they did it this morning and I don't have the funds yet or any information about whether or not the funds were actually sent. Thanks for the info.
