Prank Phone Calls to TV Sales Channels
Last night my friend and i got super blazed and were watching tv. I was checking out whats on and he demands I go to the auction/sales channels. Now the first one has some annoying guy talking about this ring and how theres only two of them left. So my friend picks up the phone, calls them, tells them he wants to buy it. Immediately the tv starts flashing and the TWO AVAILABLE clicks over to 1. My friend laughs and hangs up.
We move on to another ring show. However, this one they have like a spinning platter with 20 rings on it, theyre all numbered. So he calls and says "omg can you hold #12 up to the camera??" Immediately you can hear our sales guy on the air yell "SHOW RING #12". They do it, you can hear them negotiating stuff back and forth and its finally SOLD to my friend for 399 dollars. At this point they take his information, which is our friends name, with the address: 420 Bongload Road. Santa Cruz, CA 95060. Phone number: 420-420-6969. The phone guy reads this back to us loudly over the speaker phone twice and we are laughing too hard to speak. We hang up, repeat like 5 more times and then stop. However, it is really funny that they do stuff for you on tv thinking they have a customer and really youre just wasting their time. gg us. |

Re: Prank Phone Calls to TV Sales Channels
in high school, we toilet papered the same girl like 10+ times. Her family finally built a tall fence around their house after the grand finale, which i missed, where they taped such appropriate photographic images as "mouse inside clear pvs pipe inserted into ass". awesome imo.

Re: Prank Phone Calls to TV Sales Channels
I've always loved good prank calls, but never really been able to do any cool ones myself. A friend and I used the Jack Nicholson soundboard to call the local army recruitment office once, and the guy that answered fell for it pretty bad. He was calling us "Sir", and his responses to the old lines such as "This is Colonel Nathan R Jessop - commanding officer, marine ground forces, Gutanamo Bay, Cuba" and "Who the hell am I speaking to?", etc, were hilarious. BTW, I remember "The Serial Caller", who was a UK guy. He did some of the best calls I've ever heard to celebs, but there's absolutely no trace of him on the web now. Anyone else heard of him? |
