Default Kings mid position $3 rebuy

Pokerstars $3 rebuy, 1st level after add-on, only been at this table for 20 hands and the villain had not played a pot prior to this. Had pokertracker running and no pf raises and no action at all, so he appears to be a tight player even though 20 hands is a small sample in my opinion.

Should i have pushed the flop all in to maybe get the villain off the hand, or just folded after flop since this a tight player from what i could gather in 20 hands. Will post their hand later after some comments.

i'd shove this preflop after he re-raises. Your prob up against AA-QQ or AK almost 90% of the time. If your up against AA thats just tough luck

20 hands is definitely not a significant sample, but generally loose players engage in more than 1 hand over that kind of span.

Anyways, your initial raise pf should be larger - to ~2000. I would personally push all-in over UTG+1's re-raise. I think his range is narrow (QQ+), but there are a lot of chips in the pot. Unless an A flops, I can never see myself getting away from this hand, so I'm probably pushing it in pf.

As played, calling the flop doesn't accomplish much. If you are afraid you are beat, calling doesn't help you out. If you feel you are ahead, pushing will get him to call practically every time (with the pot so large).

If you ran into AA, tough luck, but I can't really find a fold in here. Most people's 4-bet range is very slim, but I think QQ is a part of that range... Anyways, I could be wrong, just my .02
