Default Microstakes vs. Small Stakes

Could a winning small stakes player jump in and dominate the microstakes games? That is, is strategy generally the same, with the addition of more fish? what adjustments need to be made?

No way. Microstakes is way too hard to beat for winning small stakes players.

As I've moved up the stakes I've come to the realisation that NL1000 plays the same as NL10.

I've never played microstakes before, and I'm just wondering how crazy it gets (like maybe you have to go into basic strategy bot mode because reads go out the window). Just looking for some love..

Golly! Really?...lol i'm not an idiot, I know as you move up it obviously gets tougher. I'm just saying bad/decent players are alot easier to read than the god-awful majority that probably populates these levels.

Microstakes is easier because its much easier to vbet. Higher levels people start to have and respect more standard lines.

This thread is pretty silly, not sure what youre trying to get out of it.

no it could be interesting. he's getting at the bigger picture of standard errors a 'higher-level' player can expoit easily, just by dropping down a level. is there a general mistake small stakes makes that mid could exploit?...

the last time i went to 50NL i was so stoned I could hardly think and read the players there like books.

maybe i was just on an awful table, but it seemed like a huge diff between 100NL and 50NL
