Integrating a Blog into a Website

I'm starting up a website off of a dreamweaver template (I know, I know, but it's my only option right now). I'd like to have a blog on the site but I'd like it to be built into the homepage.

I've read about ways to export blogs to your site, but I want this built in to the homepage such that all my top-bar navigation is still there, and the look is identical, etc. Is this achievable?

yes, go ahead and integrate the blog tokens right into that page's body. the blog software just parses the tokens.
