Charlie Rose talking to Dubya
Charlie Rose Special Edition: A conversation with President Bush
This was the first time I had seen Bush interviewed, as opposed to speaking at a podium. There weren't too many tough questions asked, but he did get into the question of sectarian vs Al Qaeda violance. I didn't detect any blatant lies but they may simply have slipped past my filter : (bonus points : newest Ron Paul video) Leading the Cause of Freedom in Iowa |

Re: Charlie Rose talking to Dubya
hahahaha. I'm 2 minutes in and I'm already ROTFL. It's all a bunch of meaningless doublespeak, assertions, bluffing with air, head in the clouds, megalomania stuff.

I didn't detect any blatant lies but they may simply have slipped past my filter [/ QUOTE ] That is funny This is what we get from our culture of personal destruction. We are told that Bush is a big liar just as we were told that Clinton is a big liar. So we go around believing it is true, they're liars! Both sides seem to have lost all perspective and think the other side are all monsters. Here's a clue: neither side are monsters (but what the heck, lets impeach 'em all anyway ) |

Re: Charlie Rose talking to Dubya
But Bush IS a big lair... and a war criminal to boot. He's responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians.

And I suppose Clinton was a monster too. Damn, I don't know how the culture of personal destruction marketing campaign somehow passed me over. I'll start watching the propaganda videos ASAP. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. |

Re: Charlie Rose talking to Dubya
Clinton wasn't quite as bad; he reduced the size of government, which is a plus, but he bombed his share of countries too.

[/ QUOTE ] This is correct; although presidents don't actually bomb, it's other people that do it for them. Those are the people I am mostly against. |

Re: Charlie Rose talking to Dubya
Well if I'm not mistaken, he reduced to military budget to 50% following the Cold War and when you consider the huge place the military industrial complex plays in the governments budget...

And no, I don't believe that kidnapping and caging is moral. |
