Default Common situation, why am I completely lost? 5-10 NL.

I`ve been lurking around these forums for a while and finally decided to post a hand that really puzzled me.

Villain is Redrooski24, in my opinion a pretty solid Tag who runs at 20\17\4\3\2, his fold BB to steal is around 80 over 1200 hands.

I have been playing 19\16, and he probably views me as a pretty straightforward Tag with some weak tite tendencies.
One important read is that he has seen me getting stacked with a draw against a slowplayed QQ by some other villain. That and the fact that he has just reraised me once during the session before this hand make me believe that slowplayed big pairs can be a small part of his range.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (5 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter

BB ($1729)
UTG ($737)
Hero ($1050)
Button ($1000)
SB ($4877)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $35</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, BB calls $25.

Flop: ($75) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $60</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $180</font>, Hero calls $120.

Turn: ($435) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $287</font>, Hero calls $287.

River: ($1009) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $548</font>, Hero ??????.

I have absolutely no idea what his range is here. Sets, 97, and quads are definately in his range, but I don`t know if he is doing this with a whiffed draw or a hand like T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Comments aprecciated on all streets, especially my turn play.

I think flop/turn are standard. I think river is a fold. I don't see him betting river w/ J-10, as he has to be scared of any 8, overpair, or straight.

That`s just the problem. He probably knows that I never have an eight here. I would have jammed the flop with T8 and probably folded most of the others, at least I would never call turn with just an 8 and some gutshot (shove or fold). I would have shoved a straight on turn, so I made it pretty obvious to him that I have an overpair. Maybe I`m just overthinking the hand, but it looks more and more like a call. But of course the fold button was found pretty quickly.

I might have shoved the flop, although calling is okay. Since you didn't, I would definitely shove the turn.

Turn is a push or fold spot, given stacks.

Reverse implied odds are not your friend.

i'm not sure i like the flop call. raising seems like the best play with this board.

I agree. Shoving or folding turn is definately much better than calling. Don`t really know why I did it.
