Default New Payment processors

Where are they? We were constantly told by FTP that they are implementing 2 new processors withing two weeks (was 4 months ago).

They provided MyWebATM that is now defunct, had poor service and is not offered as a deposit method anymore. Funny thing is, FTP never even bothered to send their members an e-mail announcing that:

1. MyWebATM is no longer an option to deposit or withdraw.
2. MyWebATM has relocated their domain.

None of this was done, way to go!

FULL OF SH*T

You act like a spoiled child.

Why don't you understand that the payments processing business is under a lot of pressure, post UIGE Act.

Do you really think FTP is not more anxious than you to get and maintain working processing for US players ?

Grow up and quit whining.

Lobby your elected Representatives for legislative relief from the UIGE Act.

You know what dude? The point of my post was that Full Tilt and other poker sites nowadays are VERY SHADY. I very well understand that payment business has been run underground, however do not make broken promises and keep updating your clients instead of hoping your customers will not be served and forget.

I would like to consistently point these flaws out, because this is not acceptable. They are lying to us consistently and nothing is done about it.

The Omega Internet Solutions e-wallet is a new payment processor at some of the sportsbooks and we recently added DoingPoker which is a new poker room that is supposed to come out in a few weeks. Also, 5dimes will start using Omega tomorrow and they have a poker room.

Omega is working on attracting other medium size poker rooms like Pokerhost, Pitbull, and Poker4ever but these things take time. The largest sites, both poker rooms and casinos/books, take longer to bring on outside processors, and developing an internal new processing capability is a time consuming and difficult process, even for large sites.

Many sites have been burned by processors previously and even in these difficult times there is caution by the bigger sites.

I hope that helps a little. I work at Omega and so I can answer any questions you have about Omega, plus if I can give you insight on processing/e-wallets, I will.

Yes, we are working on adding a debit card feature to make withdrawals faster. I don't have a time frame for that but it is in the works. Also, we anticipate our specialized funding merchants will introduce more localized withdrawal options as we begin adding more of them and these may have this option as well. I hope that answers your question.

And, you know, EFTs. I'd have thought those were pretty much a requirement, but I guess not.

ETA: not that it matters much, cause your withdrawal fees are insane. 8% off the top and then additional fees for each withdrawal method? Wow.

Well, EFT's are great, but probably not realistic in the future with the new regulations coming out. So as a direct funding of e-wallets associated with gaming I think it has a short term future. I do not anticipate that Omega will have that option in the future. I do think that as our list of funding merchants grows that some of them will offer that feature.

Regarding fees, well Omega doesn't have any fees for funding , nor are there fees for transferring to other users or merchants. In addition, if you regualrly deposited in excess of $2,500 then you could sign up to become a merchant and then Omega would pay you a 6% commission of everything you sent to the site. For example, become a merchant (which is free) then fund your account for 3k then transfer money to the site and you will receive a $180 from Omega just for transferring the money. You can't beat that as a deposit option. For persons that don't normally need that much in their account, Omega currently offers a 5% new user bonus and if you fund above certain amounts the first time you can receive a free ipod or free LCD TV.

Also, Omega has a rewards program which can be used to offset the withdraw fees. Omega is great for moving money between sites as there are no fees for users as long as the money is kept in the system so as a place to hold money for deposit bonuses and such I think it has a lot to offer.

Not to mention the fact that many people are much more interested in how to deposit money and the money doesn't flow nearly as much the other way for most people. I hope that is an adequate response. I appreciate your comments.
