.15/.30nl (deep): QQ, Lets play along (Vs. 2p2er)
Villain is a 2p2er and is generally a 200nl player. We talk a lot of strategy though and he saw me playing so decided to play for a bit. He's running super laggy and is c/ring and floating a lot in general. he is also 3betting me a ton, and 4bet shoved a few hands earlier in a blinds vs. blinds.
I'll post the later streets as we go, so play along. Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.15/$0.30 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $179.10 Hero (BB): $76.25 UTG: $60.00 BTN: $29.25 Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players) UTG calls $0.30, BTN folds, SB calls $0.15, Hero raises to $2.00, UTG folds, SB calls $1.70 Flop: ($4.30) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB checks, Hero bets $3.00, SB raises to $11.00 Hero? |

Re: .15/.30nl (deep): QQ, Lets play along (Vs. 2p2er)
This sounds like fun, but I am probably going to make myself look like an idiot. Let the games begin.
My initial line of reasoning was to just call here. You have position here, which you can use to your advantage. However, This player is not going to be letting you get the upper hand in this pot. We need to go all third level. When you raised out of the big blind this player is going to rightly assume that you have a big ace or a big pocket pair here. This is not a fun flop for a big pocket pair. This could have connected with the villains hand in all sorts of ways and he knows that. At that point I would ask myself, how would I play AKo with clubs, or AA with a club. I would 3 bet trying to get all-in. So at this point I would fire in a raise. Make it 25 to go. Any thoughts on my analysis here? |

knuckles,
are you raising for value or as a bluff? What if he pushes/4bets? |

Re: .15/.30nl (deep): QQ, Lets play along (Vs. 2p2er)
Both actually, I want him to think that have more than just a big pair with no draw to speak of. Most of the time I believe we are good here, so the raise is for value. If we just call here he is betting damn near every turn card, so what is the point of that. If am going to make a mistake it might as be an agressive one, this may be a leak in my game though. If he four bets I throw up a little and let me inner nit come out and fold.

Re: .15/.30nl (deep): QQ, Lets play along (Vs. 2p2er)
Sorry I didn't make that clearer. I am folding to a 4 bet because I am a nit. Mostly likely I am ahead, so I want to raise for value. I am so raising in case a fourth club falls on the turn. I want my opponent to think that I would have the Ac in my hands. Against a less aggressive and sophisticated opponent I would just call with the queens in position. Does that clear up the logic I am using here?

raise to about $35, calling a shove. if he has me beat, nh, reload time. too much history to fold.
