Default NEW COPUTER = NO MORE CARDRUNNER VIDEOS

Just bought a new computer that runs windows vista. When i try to stream or download the videos I am unable to. I went through all the steps in the FAQ page on CRunners and also contacted techs but havent been able to get it working. Anyone have a similar problem, or solution?

Try reinstalling Windows Media Player.

VLC Player has worked for files that other programs wouldn't play.

right click on downloaded video file, select "open with", select vlc player. if you check box "always use" you won't have to do this everytime.

I'm also having problems playing them. I re-installed WMP11/IE7 and all updates and even when using Zoom player it does not work.

WMP gives me an error code #C00D11B1. I followed the whole guide on CR on fixing the issue but nothing does it. They do open in VLC but the image is all messed up and the sound doesn't work.

I downloaded a WMV codec pack but it doesn't change anything. Anyone have an idea of what I could try?

did already, doesn't work. As soon as it opens in WMP it gives me the "A problem was encountered" message, so it doesn't actually open the video itself. I have other .WMV files and they open just fine.

I've tried 3-4 diff. players and none work.

I've found a solution to this problem, partly. I can now stream the videos online, and I couldn't before I did this: in WMP go to TOOLS - OPTIONS - NETWORK tab, and UNcheck RTSP/UDP.

Worked for me. No solution yet for offline play though.
