Reads? What's this xxx minraise on the flop about? If the player is bad enough i'd make a real raise, expect to get called by crappy pairs / overcards or flushdraws and push the rest in on any turn.

No reads. I had played no more than two orbits with him at this point and hadn't noted anything in particular. I thought that his odd-sized donkbet could be a bluff, but in the case that it wasn't, I was setting myself up to be able to get the rest of the chips in on the turn (hence, he stole my move). I think most people who make an odd bet like this are semi-retarded, so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect him to stack off with a worse hand than mine.

Problem with the K coming up is that it makes a turn push on my part seem more like a value-bet with AK. A lower card and he might call a wider range hoping I have AK. Should I still push the turn had he checked? I think I would have just checked behind and called most river bets.

When the K fell and he pushed, I'm wasn't sure if he trying to bluff with a scare card or was now value-pushing thinking I hit my AK...

I think you shoudl raise raised more preflop. to about 10 - 12 as you have both UTG and MP in there.

On the flop again you need to raise more to protect your hand against the FD.

as played instafold.

These $1 raises UTG are usually really big hands like KK or AA. I think you are dead in the water here.

Raise more PF because there are 2 players in and those tens are vulnerable. if your gonna raise flop raise more. i fold.
