Default Two situations(two types of hands)

Hand 1)

UTG 5500 chips
Button 5000 chips
YOU(SB) 1800 chips
BB 1200 chips

Both the Button and UTG are giving your BB walks. They are not playing optimal poker. You are dealt 62o on the SB. Blinds are 200/400 and both UTG and the button fold. Your move?

Hand 2)

Button(you) 9000 chips
SB 3000 chips
BB 1500 chips

blinds are 300/600. Your move?

In hand #2 we have 105o. Chip counts are rough. In hand two I think the BB actually have less chips. Is it worth it to gamble with the fact that SB wont call if we stack and we would be getting a good price on our move?

I'd really appreciate an explanation on hand 1 then. I usually fold in this spot. He is going to call us with any two, right? That being said we have 62o. Is it a him or us type thing? I think we are pretty much guaranteed 4th if we lose this hand and he will obviously get 4th if we win it.

If we fold here it sucks because we are about even with him but the blinds are going to hit us first every rotation so we will be forced to probably win a showdown before him. I determine most of these type of situations on how the bigger stacks are playing me. In this case they are not playing aggressive so I considered a chance they might give my BB a walk or fold to my push. This seemed like a better situation than playing for almost all my chips with 62o having to win a showdown. I'm interested in your explanation though as to why you think a push is better.
