Default Possible Bot?

I was playing with this "person" that continually made a very odd play. I was wondering how common this is at low limits and/or if this is a sign of a computer program playing? For the sake of brevity I will just post my hand and the other persons.

Hero (dealt AK)
Villain (AA)

Preflop
Villain raises, I 3 bet, Villain caps, I call.

Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Villain bets, I raise, villain calls

Turn T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain bets, I raise, villain calls

River 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Villain bets, I call while scratching my head.

I was confused at the betting pattern of villain. A bet out then call, followed by a bet out then call, followed by a bet out.

I watched this "person" do this 3 more times. Each time they had an over pair or top pair. I was so confused then I thought it might be a program. Is it common for low limits that a player would have this betting strategy, or is it most likely a bot? Also if you dont like some of my plays please let me know I dont shy away from criticism.

When I woke up this morning, I scratched my ass. I must also be a bot.

Seriously, this happens all the time. But why would someone use a bot at a cheap limit? It'd be like counterfeiting $1 bills.

That is the most commonly counterfeited bill. But yes I asked myself the same question. This "person" played like a program though. Made tells a lot easier an hour later.

If you're going to counterfeit money, of course you would want to counterfeit the $1 bills. No one's going to be looking into them, whether they're real or not. Then you pay for your food, clothes and gas with them, and buy more expensive things with money from your account to make it look legitimate.

Plus the micros can be used as a testing ground.

As to the OP's question... who knows? You have a read.. notate it and profit.
