Default FTP 50NL. Is my flush a bluff catcher here?

Villain's first orbit, no reads yet.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 7 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

MP: $20.90
CO: $25.00
Hero (BTN): $53.70

CO posts $0.50
Preflop: Hero is dealt 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (7 Players)
3 folds, CO checks, Hero raises to $2.25, SB folds, BB calls $1.75, CO folds

Flop: ($5.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4.00, BB calls $4.00

River: ($31.25) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)

Villain has about $10 left behind.

Any value in a raise here?

Anyone consider a fold? His line smells like BS a lot. Just call?

I think he's overvaluing 3 of a kind or a straight or a 10 here often enough to call. I don't like a raise though.

Yea I think he'll show up value betting a worse hand often enough to warrant a call.

hmmmm. only $10 left. i think a push is better than a call here without reads. you are most likely ahead here. villain could have gotten a straight on the river, trips on flop, or is donking chips off with 2 pair. by only calling this bet you would be missing value IMO.

I'm not folding here, that's for sure.

But if I push and get called, am I a favorite to win?

What I mean is, if villain has nothing, he's not paying off the last $10 because he has nothing.

Hes never folding any 8 for $10 more so I think a shove def has value.

Hes not folding ANYTHING for 10$ more. I think your required to shove here. if he runner runner boats you or has the higher flush, o well. Get it in.

Yeah, but when he calls will he have 8-x more often than a better flush or a boat?

That's the question to consider when deciding between call and raise.
