Wow, that robber must have been pissed when he realized how far away the guy lived. But seriously, I think this was discussed when there were some similar robberies in LA, but if you play for a lot of money at a casino it's always a good idea to keep an eye out for people following you after you leave. No need to be paranoid, but just be smart.

Re: Man robbed at gunpoint after being followed home from Ho-Chunk
I play at foxwoods. They have a safety deposit box section there. I only play for medium stakes, but if I played higher (e.g. 75/150 limit) at FW I would definitely use this security feature.
I am sure these lock boxes are at most other casinos too. Also, the casino probably can take the cash and cut a secure cheque. |

[/ QUOTE ] I asked about this at HoChunk when they offered 5/10 PL and I had a couple hauls. Unfortunately they don't offer a lock box. We're a pretty rural/touristy area here - probably doesn't happen very often, though I've worried about it. The secure check thing is a good idea though. |

Very dangerous to live in Wisconsin.
Precisely why Phil Hellmuth JR got out of there. |
