Going to Vegas in a month looking to play mostly tournaments/have a good time. Thoughts on where to stay between the 3?

If I remember correctly, Harrah's takes quite high percentage for the tourneys. I suggest staying at Harrah's. The rooms are nice and so is the location

Yes, but with the way they're mucking up the WSOP it seems almost criminal to give them business.

I just booked a room at the Luxor for 6/29-6/30... I'll let you know when I get back Sunday. Or maybe when I'm there.

Location, poker room overall quality and staff, action, and hotel/casino in general.

Anyone who works in the Luxor's poker room should have their face bitten off. That poker room is the worse.
Take the tram to Mandalay to play Poker or go to the strip to play.

I love playing at the Luxor. Perfect game for a limit-only player looking to play some NL while on vacation. Sure, the room is run poorly, but they have a 1-1-2 blind NL game that sports the worst players in the history of poker. They re-buy and re-buy, so the stacks drift into the $500+ range (on a $50 buy-in) when Qs7c goes all-in on an AhQhTc board and is called by 2hTd AND 8c9c.

I'm staying at Mandalay in Aug, and will probably make a visit to the Luxor once or twice (after my mandatory 6 hours/day at Mandalay).

Luxor is now a fixed $100 min/max buy in, with regular 1/2 blinds.

TI recently upgraded their room with fantastic pillow top mattresses. The best nights sleep I ever got in a hotel.
