This is the 100% Whey one by Optimum Nutrition? If so, tastes fine with water. The vanilla flavor is excellent, doesn't have that chemical taste that most vanilla stuff (fake vanilla) does. The regular chocolate is also good, but the vanilla is a stand-out.

rocky road is easily the best flavor, and it mixes fine in water (i never mix with milk though, so i dont really have much to compare it to)

try dymatize elite as well. comparable to ON with a lighter price tag (and better taste)

I live in UK so they charge us twice as much and we have limited choice too.
Optimum nutrition 100% whey,
reflex instant whey (uk brand I think)
PHD phama whey
These seem to be the cheapest I've found.
Maximuscle is a complete rip off but taste brilliant.
I'm going to try ON whey as people have suggested on the other thread and will check out the prices of dymatize elite.
Cheers.

only on 100% whey flavor I have tried is chocolate. I have used it for 2 years and love it. It mixes well with milk and tastes great; it mixes well with water and tastes ok.

I'm considering switching to vanilla though.

You must just hate vanilla. Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein in vanilla flavor was very good.

i have tried double rich chocolate and chocolate mint. Both excellent with milk, not as good with water. It's just tastes watered down a little with water, go figure.
