What are the benefits of this apart from minty fresh breath?

Suppesdly it fakes you into feeling full because of the jaw work, but mostly you look either like your a grade schooler or an idiot.

Beats the hell out of chewing tobacco or cigarettes, and personally it helps me when trying to think or recollect something.

Just when I thought I'd seen all the completely, utterly unreasonable hate in OOT (sandals thread)...I read this. Wow. This might be one of the worst things I've ever read.

Really, just the opposite is true for me. I start chewing and my stomach starts asking, "You're chewing, now where the hell is the food?"

After I eat something and won't be able to brush my teeth for a while, chewing gum seems to help a little to keep my teeth clean.

By the way, people should close their mouths when they're chewing gum.

meh, when I quit dipping I started chewing gum. I didn't know I looked like such a tool.
