Difficulty with pp

Need some help with small pocket pairs against a raiser - in 6 max game.

1. MP raises (about 25/15/3 player), I call in BB with 66. Flop comes 9 7 2 rainbow. I'm thinking I might be good, but out of position how do i play? Give up? lead out? CR and fold if action?

2. Same as above only I called on the button. MP raises, I called, 9 7 2 rainbow. I have 66.

Seems like when I play strong with these type of hands, I get raised for stacks and have to fold. Thx
