Poker After Dark discussion thread (Tuesday 6-26 - Queens and Kings)
Here's the thread for discussion of Tuesday's events, only Ali Nejad was eliminated last night, losing in set over set hand to Gabe Kaplan. From the limited amount of time I was watching last night, it seems earplugs would be needed for the left hand side of the table, the way the right hand side was yapping.

WTF?
I wasn't really paying attention but are they saying Peter Lorre wasn't in M (which he was) and was in Young Frakenstein (which he wasn't, Peter Boyle was). I havent seen Annie Duke in awhile, she's more annoying than I even remember. |

She wont shut up about how good she is at trivia and laughing at Howard, but Im pretty sure if I heard the beginning right she's wrong about everything I've heard her say (but like I said, I jumped in late).
In any case, this table sucks. PAT needs to change to a nightly hour of HSP. |

I can't believe Howard didn't bet that jack on the river. He should of made a defensive bet to avoid the bluff. Bad play.

Re: Poker After Dark discussion thread (Tuesday 6-26 - Queens and Kin
I've got a probably obvious question that I've always wondered about. On shows like this, when they show the odds, are they the true odds, or the odds from the perspective of the player with the hand. For example in the Lederer Ruosso hand, based on my quick estimate, it seemed like they were giving him credit for 4 King outs, even though we knew he only had 3, or less (I can't remember if anyone else folded a K).
I also had wondered how they knew when to have Shauna walk out when they edit it so heavily, but based on tonite's I could tell that they just guess and then edit her in where appropriate. The edit was jarring and atleast one player's stack was drastically different. I also was really surprised that Gabe or someone didn't call Annie on Peter Lorre being in Young Frankenstein. Unless he played a corpse. |

So far it appears as if Gabe has VR's number. I am not certain if Howard is just confused by her play or is just not into it.
Kristy Gazes gets cooler everytime I see her on TV. Good for her to get away from the game (if she really can) at 40. Annie is so irritating but I am a trivia freak so I was enjoying part of that. Did Gabe say he was on the Love Boat pilot episode? No wonder Annie said he could do no wrong in her eyes. |

Re:
What's up with Howard's betting sizes? They seem off (both high and low) for this type of format.
