after calling that turn and shoving that river I only beat a bluff with QQ or JJ. Obv. his has AK ?

I think checking the turn is best because it's hard to bet without commiting yourself to the pot. Also you'll get more value out of JJ/QQ that way. I don't really know about river as played.
