Not likely this is real. He's going to send you something over AIM. Don't open it. Stars would never do something like this.

Whatever this is, this person is not affiliated with PokerStars in any way. When someone offers to contact you over AIM or MSN, it is very often to send you a keylogger so that a week from now, you can post "My Stars account got hacked". Ignore people like this and report them to the relevant site support department. Don't humor them in this manner since you may fool someone else into thinking it's legit, and get their account hacked, and your account frozen for investigation.
