What is it with big name athletes and strip clubs?

I've never really understood why they spend so much time there. It makes the news pretty regularly, Pacman, A-rod, etc. They've got millions of dollars and women throwing themselves at them everywhere they go. Why hang out in strip clubs with skanks? Thoughts?

Well that was kind of my point. You and I can hang out with skanky strippers too. Why don't they choose to do something we probably can't, like bang a different supermodel every week or something?

It's not easy. Sure you can hang out with the groupies and other random women all over you. Of course that usually equals rape allegations (see Kobe) or fathering a child your going to have to pay for (see Urlacher, Brady).

A strip club brings the same feeling. And it's not like these guys are stopping at the Boobie Boutique. They go to some pretty nice clubs with some pretty nice girls.

Men love atractive women.

So you're syaing it's safer to [censored] strippers? Still plenty of potential for raper allegations (see Duke lacrosse) and afaik strippers can get preggo too.

^^triumph, i think colt wants to know y they go to strip clubs as opposed to dating like supermodels who they can get fairly easily i would think...

also, these are note cruddy strip clubs, some of the ones are fairly 'high-class'...

Well yeah, but you can go out to a regular club where there are plenty of chicks that aren't strippers that they can bang for free. I think non-stars go to strip clubs at least partly because the girls there fawn all over them, but star athletes get that anyway, so why go to the strip club? I mean do some guys really prefer strippers?
