I probably fold here without a read. Don't know why, it just seems like a set or he's trying to make you fold your AK, and I think set is more likely.

Weird way to play a set on a drawy board, don't you think?

Yeah it is a weird way to play anything!
I personally hate min-raisers.
So we beat most pocketpairs, which may play like this then? Is that your read?

You basically minraised PF. Make it about $4. CO made a horrible laydown.

I think he probably either has a draw or a set. I'm not sure which one.

But I don't like calling the flop and checking the turn, since if he has a draw, he probably miniraised the flop for a free turn card. So, I think the two best options are to call the flop and lead a good turn card or push the flop.

I'm leaning toward pushing the flop, since there's so many scare cards for our hand on the turn.

He has a set or a monster draw with that rediculous min raise, I think it's a fold.

If the raise was larger, do you like a call or a push?

Well, a better player is raising you with a set here too often hoping you have exactly what you have (not putting you on a draw with your PFR) and hoping you like your overpair, just saying it gives this freak away. No point calling a large raise there I don't think, it becomes a shove or a fold based on your assesment of his hand asuming he has only called you preflop like in this case.

Your raise from the blinds generally indicates a tight range.
I don't think you would raise here with below 10's, would you, pf?
The only problem I see with your plan of betting a 'safe' card is what amount to bet. It seems like from previous posts you would never bet fold with these stack sizes, so you are basically going to commit your stack on the turn hoping that he doesn't have you beat.
Maybe I'm being too cautious though.
