Lil Bush
Did anyone see this last night?
Just to clarify, I have no desire to discuss Bush or politics in this thread. But I watched this thing last night and wow. I guess Comedy Central thinks they can build a whole series based on stale unoriginal politcal jokes? This was the worst 30 minutes of TV I have seen in quite some time. Who green lights these things? I give it 4 episodes before it gets yanked. |

Re: Lil Bush
I saw about a minute and a half of this and had to turn it off. Absolutely terrible. I hate Bush but this wasn't the least bit funny.

[/ QUOTE ] Please don't drag "That's My Bush" into this conversation. Yeah, maybe its ratings sucked, but it deserved better. I consider it a very underrated show that had loads of potential. It was actually funny, wickedly satirical, and intelligent in a campy way. Timothy Bottoms was tremendous as Bush, and the obvious play on old traditional cheesy sitcoms was great. Lil' Bush was not any of those things. |

I'm guessing that after comedy central got lucky with South Park they just decided to try everything out and see if it hit. |

I am sick of network TV for being super stale, so whiffing is not so bad since it means the station is at least swinging. Still a horribly bad idea imo though. |
