Default NL10 77 Squeeze, c-bet?

UTG raises quite a bit... 35/20/1 type.

When he calls PF, do I follow through here? How much? What kind of hands should I squeeze a loose raiser and caller with... is 77 good?

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.02/$0.05 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $4.77
BB: $32.18
UTG: $20.08
MP: $10.34
CO: $8.75
Hero (BTN): $24.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
<font color="red">UTG raises to $0.15</font>, MP calls $0.15, CO folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.75</font>, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.60, MP folds

Flop: ($1.72) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $1.70</font>, <font color="red">UTG raises to $4.20</font>, Hero folds

Pot Size: $7.62 ($0.25 Rake)

I do not like turning a hand with HUGE implied odds into a BLUFF by squeezing...At this level the amount of $$$$$ you win when you flop a set far out way the $$$$$ you win when you either take the pot down PF or on the flop with a C-bet...

After the squeeze I play the flop the same...

the way id play it would be to min raise preeflop just to give the expected set some more value, since you get the same %% anyways....they all call and if they pull out a huge reraise, you know where your at

[/ QUOTE ]please don't. people at the $10 will give away their stacks in unraised pots nevermind setting up a big pot with a min 3 bet.

A min 3 bet will throw our implied odds out the window..Even worse are the times villain has AA/KK and blows us off our hand..We want to be playing our small pairs vs villain BIG pairs...

[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, but isn't it also good to get fold from suited connecting hands PF? Also, premium hands that will check/fold flop OOP like AK, AQ (not here, in theory) and hands like KQs, JTs+, etc., that elect to see flop. Plus the dead money on the overcall which is probably folding to raise.

Do you raise here with 99? 10's?

The hands/reasons you mention is why I would rather squeeze with 72o then 77..When squeezing we are looking for FE(or hands like SCs that flop concealed monsters) so our hand really doesn't matter...

Really don't mind the raise that much, to be honest.

I cbet 2/3 pot in re-raised pots. Why are you betting the pot? And yes, almost always cbet after yuo 3bet someone, you have huge FE

I will 3 bet with TT a little then 50% of the time and 99 about 33%..Smaller then 99 next to never...These 3 bet % go WAY up as the aggro PFR move into LP...With the PFR on our immediate left and a caller in between we are in great position to extract on the flop when we do flop our set vs an aggro UTG raiser...

[/ QUOTE ]This makes sense. You'd like this better if I had 76s, for instance?
