No. He didn't play the hand liek he had two babies int eh hole on third. He might very well be drawing to a 97, which you beat. He also may call you with a 10 or worse. Bet and collect monies most of the time.

I would so raise you on 5th street if I was him. I think you are a dog to most hand at that point and wouldnt mind checking, he's not folding and should be raising.

Given that the other guy flat-called on third, don't you think it's reasonably likely that he has a Seven in the hole? I'd hate to be giving him a free card in that case.

I would tend to think that forcing him to fold if he double paired slightly outweighs having to put in an extra bet when he raises me (since he won't be a moneter favorite over me). Carlos

Carlos [/ QUOTE ] If he has A-7 he's folding, fear not he free card there. He is going to have a better hand and was waiting to catch or has an 8-draw and is a favorite (albeit slight).

[/ QUOTE ] This comment is unclear...people don't fold when checked to, they check beind which is what he would do with 2 pair. If he has a 7 and a baby in the hole, I DO fear giving him a free card on 5th...which allows him to catch a 4 card draw to a 7 on 6th (which I don't want).

This is a clear bet for you. He will call with any hand better that T9xxx, since you are in a bluffing position. When he made a hand better than 96xxx he would have bet here, (maybe he is planning checkraise with a holding like this, but I can't imagine this would happen on such low limits)
