Default Crypto changes its rakeback rules?

I just talked with DTD representative and he told me the following

New Rakeback rules from the 1st July 2007

Rakeback levels

Rakeback will now be paid on Net Rake (calculations as follows)
-Total Poker Player rake minus 22.5% (Administrative fees) equals Net Rake

Rakeback will also be paid on a tiered structure
-Dependent on the MPP's obtained in the Rakeback period the percentage Rakeback will go up

-The entire Rakeback will be paid on the highest tier obtained during the period

Rakeback will from now onwards only be paid by DTDPoker and not by any third party

Rakeback is paid to all players on DTDPoker, whether a player has joined direct or through an affiliate
The Rakeback tiers are as follows:

Minimum MPP Maximum MPP Rakeback
1,000 4,999 30%
5,000 * 7,999 40%
8,000 * 10,999 45%
11,000 * And above 50%

it means if you rake £100
£22.50 is take for admin by crypto logic
then you get 50% of the balance £77.50
so technically it is capped at 38.1 % gross rakeback across all crypto skins

In any case, is this true?
My affiliate doesn't seem to be aware of the change yet and i don't know, whether this is for all Crypto sites or just DTD (even though i have no reason to suspect the DTD isn't speaking the truth).
So, what do you all know about it?

There are also a number of serious rules for affiliates, for which infractions will receive the toughest penalties.
We would therefore advise that from now onwards you only sign up to Crypto rooms through trusted affiliates.

J, yours are bi-monthly, so are effectively the same.

It seems that the rooms themselves have certain levels which they cant breach.

Also we are not totally clear yet but the payments may actually be made weekly/bimonthly/monthly depending on the rooms.

So it means that there is no more reason to sign-up through an affiliate?

What a huge badbeat for affiliate.

Default Re: Crypto changes its rakeback rules?

There are still many reasons to sign up with affiliates

Firstly in this scenario any player who rakes under 1000 MPPs gets nothing. This is not the case with Inter/Plex/Littlewoods/Betsafe

Also anyone raking between 2500-4999 points is losing out on 5% that they would get with Inter/Plex/Littlewoods/Betsafe

Also (we might be wrong) but there dont seem to be any sign up or reload bonuses with their offer as with Inter/Plex/Littlewoods/Betsafe (bonuses obviously differ at each)

So really every player who wants the best available rakeback deal and extras at Cryptologic should sign up Through an affiliate.

hope that helps

Dumb question, as this "admin fee" and net rakeback/equivalent gross rakeback is confusing me.

If I was getting 30% RB before and now I qualify for 30% net (IE 500 MPPs+ on most sites), will I be getting the same amount of rakeback as I used to, or will my RB be dropping by 22.5%?
