Default crazy 8\'s

two 88 hands within 5 minutes of each other. i haven't been playing well that last 3-4 sessions and am checking in here with two somewhat uncomfortable spots for me (at least they were as they happened. sometimes i am sharp and can feel the right play intuitively)

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $94.80
Hero (BB): $103.70
UTG: $157.55
MP: $60.80
CO: $114.15
BTN: $155.60

Reads: villian is 50/17/2 with a WTSD% of 35 over 800 hands

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, CO calls $1.00, 2 folds, Hero raises to $6.00, CO calls $5.00

Flop: ($12.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $12.50, CO calls $12.50

Turn: ($37.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero

good/easy spot for a bet here? i suppose his range is massive. just checking in as i vowed to post any hands i write down during a session.

8's are the most probable card to come on the flop.

True fact.

1) Bet again unless history indicates otherwise.
2) Probably fold to the flop c/r.

in hand two as i did the equity calcs i realized i was in trouble against this player. if only i could implant pokerstove in my head.

hand #1 if you bet ~32 or so and the river is a spade...check fold? what if its eight of spades?

#1 you could check/call to induce a bluff or just bet out to chase the draws away.
#2 I think you played it well except u might be able to fold on the flop.

You can definately get value from worse hands in 1 as well as charge draws.

With the second hand, you know that hes almost always betting again on the turn so I would usually just fold the flop.
