NLTRN expected win rates
I realize this information is probably out there somewhere. If so, please point me in the direction, and I will read up on it. If not, I would like to know what the expected win rate is for NLTRN's. A breakdown for entry levels would be nice, but something less in-depth is ok too.
Thank you |

Re: NLTRN expected win rates
60% at the 5-33s is what I would strive for over 200 games before moving up. You can stay at 55s for a lot longer than your other levels and work on 60% there too and at the same time you can sit with fish in the 110s-220s if you have 20-30 buyins + for them.
That's a good goal winrate for each level that keeps the variance swings from being too big. Obviously you'll want to get higher than 60%, but 60% for those lower and mid levels is good. |

Re: NLTRN expected win rates
Ok, I figured that 60% was what you should be shooting for. That gives around a 15% ROI for a 20+1 which is better than I would get in most other games at that buy-in. (STT Strategy forums says you should be running around 12% ROI at that level buy in).

Re: NLTRN expected win rates
52.5% is breakeven most of the time. Shooting for 60% is great, but if you are new to HU it might be a stretch. 56-58% is probably a more reasonable goal to aim for if you are just learning HU.
60%+ is more than attainable if you put in the work though. You can also expect winrate and ROI to decrease slightly as you move up each level. GL. |

Re: NLTRN expected win rates
My winrate at the 10s was like 56-57%.
My winrate at 33s was 66%. Both were reliable enough samples. As you move up you also improve during the learning process, unless you play like 500 games at each level, your ROI can actually go up per level for awhile. The more you play before moving up at each level, the lower it should go up (generally speaking). |
