Default FTP scandal

Hello All,

Although I have never posted I am an avid reader of these forums. I thought that majority of you would be inclined to know what happened to me at FULLTILT Sunday.

For some unknown reason I received this email:

Hello XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

For your security, we have temporarily suspended your Full Tilt Poker account while our Investigations Team performs a thorough review.

Please understand that this is a security measure meant to help protect you and your account.

This review typically takes up to one week to conduct. During this time you will be unable to log in to the Full Tilt Poker software. If we require more time to investigate, we will notify you and keep you updated. All funds in your account will remain dormant until our
investigation is complete.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns please let us know and we will be happy to address them.

Regards,

Dave B
Full Tilt Poker Support

-----------------------
Ive contacted them at least a dozen times asking what this is all about. I have had no response whatsoever. Its been since Sunday and my account is still closed. I have roughly $7,000 and need to make a cash out for personal reasons.

Ive never done anything wrong, just a normal player. This is the most ridiculous thing Ive ever had to deal with other then Neteller. If they can up and close your account anytime with no explanation, and no support what are we supposed to do???

If anyone here has contacts with FTP please have them PM me here as I am furious about this!

Hey man. Sorry to hear that. Its sucks not to have access to your money.

Unfortunately you will have to wait it out. If you're in the clear your account will be un-frozen and you will get your money back, so don't stress. But it does tend to take some time for them to do these security reviews.

You can try PMing FTPDoug or FTPSean. I doubt it will speed anything up, but you may be able to find out what this is about at least, which seems reasonable.

Keep us posted with any updates.

Your account isn't closed it is under investigation. Sucks that you need to cashout now, but you'll have to wait until they conclude their investigation.

I can only guess. No much to work with so far.

It might be related to your cashout request. I believe that they routinely audit you account to verify that the funds are a result of you playing on their site.

If the funds are there from another source, or if another player has accused you of any foul-play, then they might want to take a closer look.

If it was me, I would wait the week, then unless I heard from them first, I would send them a follow-up request.

As they say if you are genuine your account should be opened as soon as the investigation is finished.
If you are still suspicious ask beatme1 what happens to your funds.

Hey guys,

I mistyped the amount on accident. I actually have $700.00 not $7,000. I hadnt even requested a cash out when they closed my account. Im just a normal smal time stakes player (mainly tournaments). Ive never had any problems with anyone. I just received that email from them Sunday with no explanation or reason. Im totally clueless here. Ive tried contacting support, cashier, security all whom have totally ignored me.

You guys mentioned that there a some FTP fellas here on this forum? Could anyone of them please PM me and I will provide my account info. I need to access my account!

Thanks

Look at the FTP Answers thread (currently right below this one), and you'll see the "poster" is FTPDoug...you can start by PMing him, rather than wait for them to find you.
