I figured that the flop may have hit many of his hands that have me beat and I couldn't see many worse hands calling. So I decied to play a small pot. |

Re: AK checking TPTK on flop
If he's a bad player then you get called by all sorts of crap, including stuff like a bare Kh. If he's a good player, you're not going to extract any additional value from a worse hand by checking. Gotta bet this board.

Re: AK checking TPTK on flop
Really don'tlike checking the flop here. Board is to draw heavy. I think if he had the A (or two pair in this case) he would probably lead out aswell.

Re: AK checking TPTK on flop
i probably raise a bit more preflop~$13. If your going to bet the turn/river, betting the flop seems logical. And, this is no "small pot" ($113) so if your intention was as you say you failed basicly.

Re: AK checking TPTK on flop
checking the flop is OK, I would actually prefer you bet the flop, check the turn, and bet the river for value (assuming board doesn't go robusto not in our favor)

Re: AK checking TPTK on flop
check TPTK sometimes is good to mix it up.
but with this flop, i dont think so. even if you are HU, if a heart or a king hits the turn what do you do??? i think you r missing value. lotta hands will call you down |

Re: AK checking TPTK on flop
I'd raise 11 pre-flop (nitpicking maybe), but actually with the limper maybe I make it 12.
I'd bet flop. I'd check behind on river here. Anybody agree with this? |
