What do you think abot the flop check? I figured that the flop may have hit many of his hands that have me beat and I couldn't see many worse hands calling. So I decied to play a small pot.

i like checking the flop sometimes, but not on this board with all those draws. get some value vs worse hands.

basically theres only a flush draw out there and against one player I don't think I have to be so worried about that.

If he's a bad player then you get called by all sorts of crap, including stuff like a bare Kh. If he's a good player, you're not going to extract any additional value from a worse hand by checking. Gotta bet this board.

Really don'tlike checking the flop here. Board is to draw heavy. I think if he had the A (or two pair in this case) he would probably lead out aswell.

i probably raise a bit more preflop~$13. If your going to bet the turn/river, betting the flop seems logical. And, this is no "small pot" ($113) so if your intention was as you say you failed basicly.

checking the flop is OK, I would actually prefer you bet the flop, check the turn, and bet the river for value (assuming board doesn't go robusto not in our favor)

check TPTK sometimes is good to mix it up.
but with this flop, i dont think so.
even if you are HU, if a heart or a king hits the turn what do you do???

i think you r missing value. lotta hands will call you down

I'd raise 11 pre-flop (nitpicking maybe), but actually with the limper maybe I make it 12.

I'd bet flop.

I'd check behind on river here. Anybody agree with this?
