Buddy,

Look into Netflix man. Also, I enjoyed The Prestige. It's not super new, but pretty new, and entertaining.

Running Scared was extremely entertaining. Be warned though, it's pretty crazy.

I just watched Venus, it was pretty good. Also For Your Consideration is really funny.

When you sign up for Netflix, they ask you for your favorite genres and then have you rate movies you've seen in order to give you recommendations. Then anywhere on the site you can keep adding ratings for movies you've seen and it will update the new movies they think you'll like. It will even tell you why they recommend it (ie "you might like this movie because you liked x and x").

Also, just found out netflix has an "watch now" feature that lets you watch movies instantly on your computer rather than waiting for them to be shipped (although the shipping is ridiculously fast). When you have one of the unlimited packages, you can watch as many movies as you want and there's no extra charge for them.
