Default how much has poker changed your general mindset

i was watching poker on tv, and was trying to remember how i reacted to poker on tv before i knew how to play poker. is there anyone here who can say their mindset in life hasn't been entirely changed by poker? i've started to think of everything in terms of ev in the last year or so.

How can one fully know the extent to which poker has changed their mindset when there are so many other variables that could also be responsible for said change?
