Default Poker Terminals in live casinos?

Hey I recently stumbled upon this website : http://www.gametronix.com/index.html

It essentially seems like playing poker on a LAN network, which would have all the advantages of online play (no dealer, fast dealing, precise bets, etc) but in a live casino. Being an online player, these options seem attractive to me (I play very little live poker) however I was wondering what more experienced live players thought about this. Would the fact that you can't manipulate cards/chips/etc remove some of the "fun" of live play? Would the experience seem "fake" or somewhat less interesting than current live play? I'm curious to know B&M players opinions on these and wonder if in the future all live play will be done on terminals such as these.

1 - don't bump your threads please. Its less than 24 hours, give the forum some time to respond.

2 - There are numerous threads you can find using the search feature which discuss pokertek epoker tables, the competitor to GameTronix System's product. I don't recall anyone discussing the system you asked about so far however.

As mentioned below it was 3 days before the guy bumped it - slightly overzealous smackdown on this one TT ;-)

As for the Gametronix tables, it's a Montreal-based company I believe, and they had a multi-player table at the Montreal Open back in April where they were running some sit-n-gos with mixed success...

Mohegan Sun talked about doing this, but they've since changed their mind. Foxwoods had one of these tables, but supposedly it was always broken.
