I'd usually bet. I expect his hand isn't that strong so I don't think we are going to get huge value by checking. But betting some amount like 600 will probably make him call with most hands.

ya thats what i did and got called by a7.river play is probably my biggest leak thats y i posted such a mediocre hand wasnt sure if i bet to much or if i shoulda check

In that case betting usually makes the most sense, so I think you did good. |

I'd check the flop usually. Have to bet like 2/3ish on the river. Since he min-bet the turn, there's no reason to bother trying to check, and he's probably not that strong, so you can't really pot it.
