3-6
can a winning 20-40 player beat a 3-6 live game filled with tards with a five dollar drop?

Re: 3-6
Why would a winning 20/40 player want to play 3/6?
Anyway, it would take anyone a long adjustment period to move from 20/40 high card holdem to an effective style at a loose 3/6 table. If the pots were big enough, then, yes, the game could be beaten, but this hypothetical is ridiculous. |

Re: 3-6
Lets assume the 20-40 player had family and financial issues and had to rebuild a bankroll would live 4-8 be the best or something else to build that person's bankroll high enough for 20-40

If I were you, I wouldn't drop to 3/6 with the outrageous $5 rake... can you bonus whore and set aside some cash to at least put together a half-decent 6/12 roll? |

Re: 3-6
stuck with 2,000 to build. Cant really afford to loose, that is the reasons.

Re: 3-6

Re: 3-6
if you are a good tournament playre i would suggest playing touranments to rebuild your roll. Also maybe get a real job if you "cant afford to lose"

[/ QUOTE ] not saying it can't be done, but playing with scared money at the least can keep you from winning as much as you should. if you're talking about live play i don't see why you can't play 8/16(if one is available). you can definitely play 6/12. live play you often face less aggressive opponents. variance usually won't be as pronounced as an online game. all of that said, i hope you found your answers. |
