Ivey, Gordon, and Schneider - WSOG (Golf) Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, June 23rd, NBC will air their first installment of the innaugural World Series of Golf. It's a 10k buy-in event that mixes Golf with No Limit Poker. I'll be watching because my friend plays in it. But I also hear that it will provide ample anti-Gordon material as well. Also, Ivey makes the "Final Table/Round".

It will be shown on NBC at 12:00 Vegas Time (Pacific).

I would love to hear what you guys think about the format!

I overheard a convo about a 4 part ESPN golf show with mostly poker players putting up 1mil a person doing 3 person scramble as well as some larger scale 200k buyin best ball game. The contract just got signed and most known degenerate poker player/golf gamblers are on the expected list.

As a total aside, I don't know how good it is for our legislative cause to show poker players being total degenerates. Great for NVG, not so good for Legislation I guess.

IIRC in the lounge poster "Dominic" mentioned that he did a lot of behind the scenes work on the show. There was a thread about it there (I'm too lazy to run a search and link to it). Maybe he'll show up here and give some more details.
