Anyway, fly out last minute at 3 AM on saturday morning to rail my buddy in the WPT Mandalay Bay event, and he takes it home for 750K. Shippp it. (Met some of you guys there, and for the record, after his call with 33, for those of you who know what I'm talking about, the great shaundeeb himself now agreed that he is no longer deserving of being called 'legendary' and that it is reserved for only shawn buchanan).

So while we're still at the Mandalay, Shawn's roommate, Greg FBT Mueller runs over and lets us know he's chip lead in the mixed hold 'em 5K world series event. Gets heads up vs MrSmokey and smokey runs good and plays even better to take the title. Ship 2nd place, and the 330K.

Unfortunately we can't all be staking Gods, (and for the record, congrats to Thayer, thought he played really, really well considering his chip count). So, I guess thats another beat, I had 0% of their action.

But, they obviously took care of us and we had a free trip for my first time to vegas, and got to do it in style.
