WTF is his hand range in this spot
100bb stacks 6 handed, folded to a regular in the SB that is about 25/22 preflop and is capable of making moves if he suspects its profitable.
SB raises to 4bb, you have K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and repop to $12, he calls. Pot: $24 He checks on a Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] board and you bet $17, and he quickly raises to $50. Whats his hand range? |

Re: WTF is his hand range in this spot
in a blind vs blind situation as a player capable of making moves? yes
he could even have QQ-AA played tricky, you're still ahead of his range and i dont think getting it in is bad. |

Re: WTF is his hand range in this spot
He has QT and even QJ like _never_ here. That said, i think his range is AQ, AK sometimes (if he's tricky enough), AA-99, against which you are ahead.
Even if we narrow his range down to AQ and JJ+, you are only a 1:2 dog which roughly equals your (implied) pot-odds. Thus call flop and call turn. |

Re: WTF is his hand range in this spot
I check this flop in position a lot.
I personally think his range is AQ+, air, and a 2 (with a lot of air). But some players are nutty and always play any pocket pair like the nuts on paired boards. In any case, hard to see him not 4-betting preflop with almost everything you lose to, so I'd call and get it in on the turn. If he has AQ, shoot yourself later. |

Re: WTF is his hand range in this spot
the consensous is that you're ahead of his range. the best way to maximize value here is to call his flop c/r and get it in on the turn. likely the sb will open push turn, if not, you push the turn
