for the record villian was folding to about 80% of flop bets, very tight... the flop bet doesn't serve as much of a value bet here...i was just struggling to extract any value possible out of this/

I'd still bet flop because he's not going anywhere with a FD and you'd hate it if a club came on the turn after you gave him a free card.

the way you played it, it looks like you have a slow played flush, so villain will act accordingly, and you really aren't getting anymore value than if you would have bet the flop
